This young girl unfortunately didn’t have the best results from a previous orthodontic treatment in her village in the hinterlands. This can happen due to various reasons. However, she never lost hope. She chose to seek Orthodontic retreatment. We faced severe challenges as she had already lost four premolars in her previous treatment. She had a massive deep bite and severe forwardness of the teeth with a very gummy smile. We had to pull out all our diagnostic and planning skills and armamentarium to help treat her over 2 years to now land her a stable, near normal, treatment results.
